I have had the pleasure to meet him for the first time in March 2012, during my first interview for the position of Product Assurance Consultant at the company Thales Cryogenics, Eindhoven. We talked in advance several times to prepare the interview and he helped a lot to onboarding and assisting me on the visit to Eindhoven, he kept me informed always and he was at Schiphol airport for my arrival. Ray spent all day with me, driving from Schiphol to Eindhoven and being present during the interviews. Once I was already onboard at Thales Cryogenics, we maintained contact for the follow up of my first steps in the new job.
I know also about Ray's professional skills and managerial style during the time he was Environmental Test Manager for the Galileo program for OHB at the environmental test center (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency (ESA) located in Noordwijk, The Netherlands operated by the Netherlands European Test Services (ETS).
