Product Assurance Engineer
Our Client, Celestia Antwerp BV is active in the space sector enabling customers to fulfil their needs for Satellite Integration with products ranging from Ground Station to Test Systems. The company is currently expanding its activities in the global space industry.
Operating from the beautiful city of Antwerp in Belgium, they are looking for key personnel. Are you driven by a highly innovative technical environment? Are you looking for challenges enabling you to take an active role in Space programmes?
You will be the responsible for providing Product Assurance for their products and projects. Furthermore, your support will be appreciated for continuously improving their Quality Management System.
You will be working closely with the Quality Manager, Project team members, suppliers and customers. The positions are open for both Hardware and Software Product Assurance Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control during Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test activities
- Perform incoming inspection on purchased Products
- Manage compliance to Project and Product User requirements
- Ensure that quality requirements are adhered to
- Be responsible for flowing down upper-level quality requirements to suppliers
- Actively contribute to design and delivery reviews
- Generate quality records
- Manage control of non-conforming material or products
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electronics or ICT Engineering or SW Engineering or equivalent through experience
- Familiarity with the process of CE certification and the related EU directives
- Experience with Quality Control in an industrial environment would be an asset
- Familiarity with ESA related programs and projects is an asset
- Motivated, team player, dynamic, sense of ownership and commitment with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to write technical documents
- Assertive personality to pursue the Quality mission
- Good customer relationship skills
- Excellent English language skills
